About this site
Owlboy Guide is an unofficial fan resource for Owlboy, the 2016 platformer by D-Pad Studio. It is not affiliated with D-Pad Studio, and it does not speak for the developers.
The site exists because the game's 2026 anniversary update created a gap: the official patch notes are a list, the community wiki is a reference, and neither answers the questions a new or returning player actually asks. This site tries to answer those questions in one place, in the order a player meets them.
What the pages are based on
Every factual claim on this site comes from one of four sources:

Where a page describes a route, a boss pattern or a collectible location, the source is the game itself as documented by the community wiki and public walkthroughs. Those pages say so at the bottom.
What the site does not do
It does not invent numbers. If a total is not documented, the page says which areas are confirmed and lets you add them up; the coins page is the clearest example. It does not publish internal research notes, source packs or verification logs; those stay out of the published site.
It also does not cover mods, cheats or piracy. The Speed-runner Mode page describes an official Steam branch, not a mod.
Dates and corrections
Every page ends with a Checked date. The current pass was done on 2026-11-03, against the sources above. If a page has no checked date, it is a bug; the contact page is the place to report it.
Corrections are welcome and are the reason the contact page exists. If you find a number that does not match the game, include the platform, the version and, if possible, a screenshot. The guides index lists every page so you can point at the exact one.
Images
The screenshots on this site are official Steam store and Steam news images for Owlboy. They are used for reference and commentary, with the source named in the alt text. No AI-generated art is used, and no screenshots from other sites are used.
Who runs it
A single editor maintains the site, checks the pages against the sources and answers mail. There is no advertising network contract to disclose beyond the third-party units described in the privacy policy, and no sponsored content.
